Job Title Program Director, Specialty and Growth Portfolio
Job Description Drive Transformation. Influence Strategy. Deliver Impact.
At Sage, we're building the future of business, and we're looking for a highly capable Program Director, Specialty & Growth Portfolio to help shape and accelerate our next phase of growth.
This is a high-impact role at the heart of our Specialty & Growth business, partnering directly with the General Manager and senior leaders across Product, Product Marketing, Finance, Commercial teams, and Routes to Revenue. You'll lead strategic initiatives that drive meaningful business outcomes, ensuring bold ideas are translated into clear plans, strong execution, and measurable results.
If you thrive in fast-paced environments, enjoy solving complex business challenges, and have a talent for bringing people together to deliver change, we'd love to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities What You'll Be Doing
As Program Director, you'll play a pivotal role in driving strategic priorities across a global portfolio of initiatives. You'll provide structure, governance, and execution discipline while helping leaders navigate complexity and maintain focus on what matters most.
You'll:
Partner closely with the General Manager to shape and deliver strategic priorities and transformation initiatives.
Lead large-scale, cross-functional programmes from planning through execution, ensuring clear accountability, governance, and measurable outcomes.
Connect teams across Commercial, Product, Finance, Marketing, and Operations to drive alignment and remove barriers to success.
Establish and drive operating rhythms, leadership reviews, planning cycles, and business performance discussions.
Provide visibility across critical initiatives, tracking progress, risks, dependencies, and key decisions.
Turn data and insights into meaningful recommendations that help leaders make informed decisions.
Create compelling executive-level presentations, communications, and business updates.
Challenge thinking, identify opportunities, and influence senior stakeholders to drive better business outcomes.
Champion best practices in programme and project management across the organisation.
What You'll Bring
We're looking for an experienced programme leader who combines strategic thinking with a strong bias for action.
You'll likely have:
Significant experience leading complex transformation programmes or strategic business initiatives in a large, matrixed organisation.
Exceptional programme and project management expertise, including governance, risk management, stakeholder alignment, and delivery oversight.
Strong commercial acumen and the ability to translate strategy into execution.
Outstanding stakeholder management and influencing skills, with confidence engaging senior leaders and executive audiences.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving capabilities, using data and insights to drive decisions.
The ability to prioritise effectively, navigate ambiguity, and maintain momentum across multiple workstreams.
A collaborative leadership style and proven ability to influence without direct authority.
Experience working across global teams, functions, and time zones.
A proactive mindset, strong ownership, and a passion for delivering results.
Why Join Sage?
This is more than a programme management role. It's an opportunity to help shape the direction of a strategically important growth portfolio within a global technology leader.
You'll work alongside talented leaders, influence decisions that matter, and play a key role in delivering initiatives that drive Sage's growth and transformation agenda.
If you're energised by complexity, motivated by impact, and excited by the opportunity to lead change at scale, we'd love to hear from you.
Join Sage and help turn strategy into action.
