Anonymised Application – in keeping with Camden’s commitment to inclusion the recruitment to this role is anonymised and supports the objective of reducing the impact of unconscious bias.

About us

We want Camden to a better borough – a place where everyone has a chance to succeed and nobody gets left behind. Together, with citizens and organisations who call Camden their home, we will create a place that works for everyone and where everybody has a voice. No one organisation can do this on their own – we’re mobilising a We Make Camden network, so that together, we can make real social change a reality. Here’s where you can be part of growing our We Make Camden movement.

The role

You’ll join us at a critical time, as we continue to mobilise our borough wide response to We Make Camden Missions and Challenges. Since the publication of We Make Camden, the borough has come together in new and inspiring ways to tackle some of the most pressing issues we face – but there is still untapped resource and opportunity and an energy and appetite to go further.

In these roles, you will support the Council to develop a stronger approach to partner relationship building, increasing connectivity and co-ordination across Camden networks. You will unlock resource and enable the Council and our partners to work differently - accelerating our progress towards building a better borough. You will support organisations to translate strategic priorities into impact on the ground and will work with senior leaders across the organisations to develop our We Make Camden networked approach.

About you

You will be confident in navigating ambiguous situations and imagining how things could be done differently to achieve real change for Camden residents.

You will be a natural collaborator, who is experienced at working across organisation barriers to enable new relationships to be built and to achieve positive change for our communities.  You’ll have extensive knowledge of the strategic challenges facing local places and of Camden the borough. You will create space for people to share and apply lessons learned to help others improve their activities. Most importantly, you are passionate about how we can work together as a borough, with our communities to find the best solutions to tackle complex challenges.

You will strengthen our relationships and develop new ways to bring people together to tackle issues and deliver impact. You’ll be an excellent communicator who is able to build strong relationships and partnership working.

Working for Camden

We’re ready to welcome your ideas, your views, and your rebellious spirit. Help us redefine our corporate services, and we’ll redefine what a career can be. If that sounds good to you, we’d love to talk.

At Camden, you’ll receive a host of benefits as well as joining a flexible working employer. Visit 'www.camdenjobs.co.uk/staff-benefits' to see full details of our benefits.
