Skip to main contentDisability leave – our commitment to support disabled staff
Your health and wellbeing is our number one priority and we want to make sure that every member of our workforce feels supported, able, and safe to bring their best selves to work.
Disability Leave is a means to support our disabled staff to bring their best selves to work, and show that disability is not a barrier to contributing positively to Camden’s workforce and success. We have been working with the Camden Disability Network (CDN) and recently signed and launched the Camden Disability Charter for Change which sets out a series of commitments. This document sets out our provision for Disability Leave and links in with our Wellbeing Passport.
We recognise that health conditions and the need to time off from work to attend appointments and undertake treatment can fluctuate so we encourage a flexible approach based on conversations with your manager and can include a combination of disability leave and other flexible/agile working arrangements where appropriate. These provisions are also extended those who have caring responsibility for someone with a declared disability.
We have a range of internal and external support for our staff including a Camden Disability Network, Trade union advice/membership and wellbeing resources and counselling services.
Share your experience, tips and advice with other job seekers on how they can land their dream job. The best contributions will get published!
