Sopra Steria invites accomplished IT professionals with extensive ServiceNow experience to apply for the position of ServiceNow Senior Technical Consultant. As the ServiceNow Senior Technical Consultant at Sopra Steria, you will play a pivotal role in guiding our projects to success. Your in-depth knowledge of the ServiceNow platform will be instrumental in leading teams, crafting innovative solutions, and delivering outstanding service to our valued clients.

What you'll do:
  • Technical Excellence: Apply your expertise to craft, develop, and implement sophisticated workflows and processes using the powerful ServiceNow platform.
  • Optimising Client Outcomes: Conduct value-based assessments and workshops, ensuring our clients achieve maximum value from the ServiceNow platform.
  • Business Development: Chip in significantly to bid opportunities for ServiceNow projects, securing extra revenue, and encouraging enduring partnerships with new clients.
  • Documentation and Efficiency: Produce comprehensive system documentation gathering the solution design for implementation and long-term support. Continuously optimise the use of the ServiceNow platform to surpass client expectations.
  • Mentoring and Collaboration: Empower and mentor junior team members, promoting a collaborative environment of growth and knowledge-sharing.
  • Continuous Professional Growth: Sopra Steria advocates continuous learning. We encourage you to pursue ServiceNow learning paths and obtain new certifications to advance your career.

Crucial Skills and Experience:
  • ServiceNow Proficiency: In at least one ServiceNow application: Customer Service Management (CSM), Field Service Management (FSM), or IT Service Management (ITxM).
  • Integration Expertise: Proven experience in implementing solutions requiring flawless integration with other systems.
  • Certification Credentials: Ideally hold a ServiceNow certification in one of the following: ITxM, CSM, or FSM.
  • Pre-sales Competence: Proficient in providing pre-sales support, including solution shaping, estimating, resource planning, transition planning, and proposal writing within a ServiceNow environment.
  • Business Analysis Proficiency: Strong foresight in business analysis, including requirements gathering and writing user stories.
  • Effective Communication: Outstanding communication skills and customer management capabilities.
  • Methodological Expertise: Proficient in ITIL, SDLC, Prince 2, Agile, and Scrum methodologies.
  • Security Clearance: Must be a sole British National and ideally hold current SC clearance.

Desirable Skills:
  • Methodological Certification: Certified in ITIL V3/V4, Agile, Scrum methodologies.
  • Integration Prowess: Experience creating solutions that seamlessly integrate with other systems.
  • ServiceNow Diversification: Familiarity with other ServiceNow products.
  • Project Leadership: Demonstrable experience in project management and project leadership.
  • Mentorship Experience: Previous experience in mentoring junior team members.
