The role will be an internal customer facing position, managing a team of engineers, delivering ITOM and ITSM Tooling platform support, platform integrations, process automation, providing guardrails, governance, and best practice.

Job Description:We are looking for a Technical Team Lead to join our Tools Operations Team. The role will be an internal customer facing position, managing a team of engineers, delivering ITOM and ITSM Tooling platform support, platform integrations, process automation, providing guardrails, governance, and best practice.
What you will be doing:- Design, Specification, and Implementation of application and system integrations & automations.
- Perform complex analysis of business goals, objectives, and needs of the wider business environment to align technology solutions, making recommendations to improve and support business activities, planning, estimating costs, monitoring metrics, providing daily guidance to the team.
- Maintain a product/service catalogue of standard integration and automation solutions, ensuring that product lifecycles are communicated and managed across the business, including Pre-Sales (New Business) and Service Management (Technology Roadmap).
- Where required, provide subject matter expert IT systems advice/guidance of applications, integrations, and automations, ensuring continuity of internal and customer-servicing IT systems and related equipment.
- Where required, perform system patching / release upgrades, maintain backup schedules, and run daily checks on server systems infrastructure.
- In the event of major faults or planned system maintenance, to undertake necessary works outside of normal working hours.
What we are looking for:- General knowledge of Enterprise IT and network infrastructure
- Demonstrable knowledge of IT Operations & Service Management systems.
- Demonstrable experience delivering Automation and Process Engineering.
- Demonstrable experience of scripting & programming languages and API's.
- Knowledge and/or experience of working in ITIL-based support environments.
- Ability to work effectively at pace and with competing priorities.
- Good understanding of Information Security (ISO27001) principles & Cyber Essentials Plus.
- Must be able to undergo SC Clearance
