Senior Financial Crime Analyst - Lloyd's

A bit about the job

As a Senior Financial Crime Analyst, you'll play a key role in supporting the design, delivery and ongoing enhancement of the financial crime framework. Working within the Compliance team, you'll provide expert oversight and guidance across sanctions referrals, due diligence, financial crime risk assessments, policy management, regulatory change and business initiatives. You'll help ensure the business remains compliant with regulatory and Lloyd's requirements while supporting growth, overseas expansion and the development of new classes of business. The role also provides exposure to senior stakeholders, regulators and governance forums, making it an excellent opportunity to contribute to both operational delivery and strategic compliance objectives.

Skills and experience we're looking for:
  • Proven experience working within a Financial Crime team at a Lloyd's managing agent with a strong understanding of UK and EU (including Lloyd's Insurance Company) financial crime regulation and requirements.
  • Experience conducting due diligence on complex sanctions referrals, including across marine and specialty classes of business.
  • Demonstrable experience undertaking Financial Crime Risk Assessments.
  • Diligent, with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage competing priorities effectively.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with experience engaging and influencing stakeholders at all levels.
