Lloyd's is seeking to appoint a Senior Business Analyst with an understanding of the London Market, Lloyd's and London Market claims on a 6 Month (Inside IR35) contract basis.
You will provide business analysis expertise in the delivery of Blueprint 2 . This role will be providing expert business analysis in the design, development and implementation of the Claims functionality for Blueprint 2 and as such the role requires detailed understanding of the London Market, Lloyd's and London Market Claims. This role may also have responsibility for providing advice and guidance to more junior BAs.
Responsibilities
Partner with Business areas and Market groups to provide effective support and expertise in relation to technological and operational changes
Identify, plan and lead all analysis work on the Claims workstream, ensuring dependencies understood and appropriately considered
Drive a user-centric and process-first approach to change delivery, with data-driven decisions, ensuring that stakeholders and project team's focus is on ensuring we build the right things
Provide best in class business and data requirements gathering expertise, with current state and future state analysis approaches across people, process, technology and data, to inform key decisions, designs and solution development
Gain consensus and manage business requirements from the Market and Corporation and drive building shared understanding across project teams and stakeholders
Build successful engaging relationships across the Corporation and Market, ensuring the value of the analysis and recommendations are understood and informed decisions are made by others to drive the best outcomes
Plan, organise and run workshops with key senior stakeholders to understand needs and ensure these are correctly and accurately recorded and translated into business requirements.
Define benefits and impacts on all parties of changes by carrying out cost benefit analysis and consultation work, support the creation of the business case and methods to measure
Skills
Excellent knowledge of the suite of business analysis tools and methods across agile methodologies
Good understanding of the different roles and responsibilities of change professionals across a large transformation programm e
Excellent understanding of the London Market, Lloyd's and London Market claims
Good understanding of the technologies used by the market including messaging systems and processes
Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organise, analyse, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy
Best in class approaches for defining, validating, challenging, and managing business requirements/user stories across the end to end delivery lifecycle
Understanding users with ability to identify users and their needs based on evidence. Translating into requirements or user stories and propose design approaches or services to meet these needs
Using analysis presentation techniques to specify requirements, creating mock-ups and wireframes and using data analysis to drive data-driven decisions
Proactive and self-sufficient, adapting to change and applying pragmatism, with a focus on results
Strong stakeholder management and relationship building with the ability to adapt approach
Strong presentation, facilitation and visualisation skills with a focus on driving the process throughout change delivery and creating shared understanding from analysis, insights and requirements
Process re-engineering and design, defining data models and flows, able to analyse datasets to derive models and insights, creation of product visions, product backlogs and roadmaps, customer journey mapping and user story mapping
Ability to plan analysis approaches and co-ordinate analysis of others
