Fund Reporting Accountant - Salary up to £60,000

We are looking for a Fund Reporting Accountant to join our fantastic team. This is a great job for someone who is a professional in accounting and reporting matters and you will implement improvement in our processes. The successful candidate will enjoy exercising their strong capabilities in both reporting, problem solving and operational process improvement. A bit about the job:

This accounting role sits within the With Profit Fund Accounting production team and will be managed and mentored by a Senior Finance Manager.

Our new team member will be responsible for ownership and delivery of timely and insightful outputs to internal and external stakeholders and high-quality reporting with supporting analysis to identify underlying drivers and offer business insight.

With a focus on operation and improvement of financial and operational controls with the ultimate aim of safeguarding both customer and shareholder interests. Focusing continuously on process optimisation, simplicity and standardisation, while leading investigations within reporting and acting as a key resource on projects, influencing partners and handling key relationships across Finance.

This role will give you the opportunity to build a broad network within Aviva as you will work with colleagues across Financial Accounting, Investment Reporting, Actuarial Reporting, and the wider business.

Skills and experience we're looking for:

• Qualified accountant with post qualification experience.
• Experience within a financial reporting role and Financial Systems experience.
• Strong Excel and excellent analytical skills required.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to communicate across all levels.
• A capacity to work at pace with a positive attitude to change and an ability to quickly adapt to changing priorities.

• Starting salary of up to £60,000 (depending on location, skills, experience, and qualifications)
