This is a great opportunity for an early-career developer who wants to build strong engineering skills, learn from an experienced team and develop their expertise in Salesforce and modern software development.

You don't need to know everything from day one. We're looking for someone with solid development foundations, strong communication skills, curiosity and the ability to learn quickly.

What makes the team special

You'll join a stable, experienced and supportive engineering team where collaboration and knowledge sharing are part of everyday life.

- A close-knit team with experienced engineers who can support your development
- Developers, testers, architects and product managers working together as one product team
- A friendly environment where asking questions and sharing ideas is encouraged
- Exposure to Salesforce innovation, AI and modern product engineering
- A hybrid working model with 3 days per week in our Winnersh office

You'll work with colleagues from different technical, professional and cultural backgrounds, so being able to communicate clearly, listen and collaborate effectively is particularly important.

- Learn from experienced engineers while progressively taking ownership of your work

What we're looking for
We're looking for someone with a good foundation in software development, gained through a degree, graduate programme, internship, placement, apprenticeship, personal projects or initial professional experience.

Ideally, you'll have experience or knowledge in one or more of the following:

- Salesforce development and programming, particularly Apex, Lightning or LWC
- Java
- JavaScript / TypeScript
- Object-oriented programming and software development principles
- APIs, databases or web application development

Salesforce development knowledge would be a strong advantage, but we're also interested in developers with solid Java or JavaScript foundations who are motivated to build their Salesforce expertise.

Just as important: how you work, we're looking for someone who:
- Has excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Is comfortable working with people from different backgrounds, roles and levels of technical expertise
- Can explain their thinking clearly and isn't afraid to ask questions
- Enjoys collaborating and learning from others
- Is curious, proactive and keen to develop
- Is open to feedback and able to contribute positively to technical discussions
- Has a genuine interest in software engineering and building quality products
- Nice to have, but definitely not essential
- Salesforce internship, academic project or personal project
- Exposure to Apex, SOQL or Lightning Web Components
- Experience with Git or CI/CD
- Knowledge of Salesforce REST APIs
- Salesforce certification
- Experience working in Agile / Scrum environments

You don't need to tick every box. If you have strong development fundamentals, great communication skills and the motivation to learn Salesforce, we'd like to hear from you.

Benefits
- Competitive salary plus bonus scheme
- Pension plan: up to 8% matched + 2% top-up by Sage
- 25 days annual leave, with the option to buy up to 5 more
