Job Title: Surveyor - Senior Surveyor Valuation
Location: Remote Working (UK wide)
Role Purpose: The candidate will work within the Corporate and Public Sector Valuation Services team, principally working on the valuation of UK assets for Public Sector clients.
The role will involve providing real estate valuation advice for a number of Public Sector bodies located across the UK for a wide range of services including formal accounts, transaction support, asset management initiatives, and purchase price allocations. This comprises a role in a growing team, giving excellent prospects for significant client exposure and opportunities for future advancement. This role is intended as a flexible working opportunity, with the majority of work conducted from home, reporting into our London team. The candidate will be expected to undertake property inspections across various geographies.
The role is flexible, and open to those seeking part-time or full-time work.
Key Responsibilities:
- Undertaking valuation assignments on a mix of asset classes, including operational and investment properties across the UK.
- Reporting to clients by phone, email and in meetings, on all valuation matters
- Providing advice on asset management initiatives such as sale and leasebacks, lease re-structure, planning and development.
- Report writing, research and analysis, often working under tight timescales.
- Reporting project progress to the central team
- Working closely with the wider CBRE business, in-particular our public sector and agency teams.
Person Specification/Requirements:
- MRICS qualified with 0-3 years’ post qualification experience
- Valid UK driving licence.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines
- Able to prioritise and co-ordinate tasks efficiently
- Maintains a positive attitude towards routine tasks
- Candidate must be highly organised and resourceful
- Candidates who are articulate and with strong attention to detail
Skills Required
- Excellent communication (written and oral) skills
- Good knowledge and experience with Argus Enterprise and Developer software packages
- Good analytical and numerical skills
