Mental Health First Aiders at CBRE

Our mental health first aiders are all trained by MHFA England and are available to meet, talk on the phone, connect by Zoom or text to provide support, signposting and reassurance. 

Colleagues can reach out to any one of us to talk about how they are feeling, if they have concerns about another colleague or if they are supporting someone who is experiencing a period of mental ill-health.   

Our Aim

• Proactively encourage good mental health and wellbeing through breaking down any cultural silences and reducing stigma across the business.  Providing the right support, guidance, and resources to all of our people and managers to enable each and every one of us to thrive and achieve our full potential.
• Maintaining a positive and open mind is vital to managing the stresses and strains of everyday life.  WorkWell Mind provides practical tools, resources, and support to help maintain psychological wellbeing. 
• Promoting self-care, kindness, compassion and understanding coupled with setting healthy boundaries and managing expectations are all ways to help support a healthy mind.
• Being able to recognise the early warning signs and symptoms is key to being able to seek professional help and support. 

In November 2023, CBRE launched 'Men’s Health & Wellness Week' at CBRE UK to shine a light on the key topics affecting men today.
 
We kicked things off with “Men in Conversation : a spotlight on Men’s mental health & the importance of talking” which was a powerful and thought-provoking session, in collaboration with Movember.
