Third Party Cyber Assurance Lead

National Salary up to £75,000

London Salary Up to £85,000

We are currently recruiting for an enthusiastic individual with a curious and proactive approach to join and be part of our Third-Party Information Security Assurance Team (TPISA). This is a great job for someone with experience in information security, privacy or risk management!

A bit about the job:

In this role you will perform a number of information security related assessments independently for critical suppliers across Aviva business units that transmit, process or store Aviva related data. You will define, lead and report on the delivery of an annual cycle of assurance across a defined set of suppliers and to agree a pragmatic approach with the suppliers on the technical and non-technical remediation of findings.

We are looking for you to take ownership of issues and share your Information Security subject matter expertise, acting as the single point of contact and expert for both internal and external partners, when it comes to information security due diligence related assurance and supplier onboarding activity. Additionally, you will lead a small team and work with internal stakeholders, external consultants, and Aviva suppliers to identify the key risks associated with existing supplies.

Skills and experience we're looking for:
  • Information security background, experience with third-party assurance would be an advantage. Previous experience of working with 3rd party suppliers
  • In-depth understanding of cyber and/or third-party risk management, control frameworks and effective Information Security strategy, practices, technologies, and controls frameworks
  • Understanding of cloud and new technologies with a focus on risk and controls. Strong analytical skills and the ability to effectively manage data and reporting
  • An active interest in educational development within the Information Security space through certifications, training and self-learning. Ability to work collaboratively with teams from other disciplines within Aviva and with the suppliers in meeting the end goal
  • Ability to lead concurrent sophisticated activities to short timescales and work under pressure to deliver good quality assessment reports

  • Starting salary of u to £75,000 (National) and up to £85,000 (London based applicants) depending on location, skills, experience, and qualifications
