About the Opportunity

We're growing our Environmental Planning team and are looking for an experienced EIA professional ready to take on a strategic leadership role.

You'll join a highly regarded team delivering environmental assessment and consenting support on some of the UK's most exciting infrastructure programmes. Working closely with clients, regulators and technical specialists, you'll provide direction, solve complex challenges and help projects navigate the planning process successfully.

You'll work across a diverse portfolio that includes:

Renewable energy and hydrogen

Water and water resource management

Utilities and transmission infrastructure

Rail and transport

Major developments and nationally significant infrastructure projects

Our clients include National Grid, the Environment Agency, National Highways, Network Rail, water utilities and HS2, giving you the opportunity to work on projects that are visible, high-profile and nationally important.

Beyond project delivery, you'll play an important role in developing teams, strengthening client relationships and contributing to the continued success of the business. Strong experience leading Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) projects within infrastructure sectors

A track record of managing client relationships and stakeholder engagement

Experience leading multidisciplinary project teams

Chartered status, or a commitment to achieve chartership, with a relevant professional body such as ISEP, CIWEM or IES

A degree in an environmental, planning, scientific or related discipline
