A bit about the role:

As a Property & Liability Underwriter you will help drive and transform how we partner our broker portfolios, through responsive, flexible, and collaborative relationships. With a strong balance of technical and trading capability, you'll be empowered to make decisions and deliver profitable growth, across new business within the key markets. Relationship management is key as you will Influence key contacts in the marketplace through business development and customer engagement. Understanding what matters to customers and brokers to provide the right solution and deliver the best outcomes that reflect the Aviva underwriting strategy and values.

There will also be opportunities to work towards underwriting licence levels.

Skills and experience we're looking for:

• Experience within Property and Liability underwriting is essential
• Excellent communication, listening, time management and negotiating skills, with the ability to work collaboratively within a large complex organisation
• ACII qualifications or working towards
• Good knowledge of the FCA rules and other relevant regulation and legislation
• Ability to analyse risks, communicate and present effectively to brokers and/or customers
