We are recruiting for an experienced and tenacious Senior Pricing Manager to join our award-winning GI Commercial Lines teams to drive and influence growth and profits across Aviva's GI Commercial Lines business.

A bit about the job:

Working as part of the Commercial Lines SME pricing team you will be required to build close relationships with Trading Underwriters and influence business and pricing strategy. Developing a detailed understanding of the GI Commercial Lines marketplace in the UK and associated market pricing tools, techniques and strategies which will assist with being accountable for agreeing portfolio-based pricing decisions across the Commercial Lines SME business.

You will be responsible for portfolio analysis and the recommending and implementation of pricing decisions which will assist in enabling Aviva to meet its ambitious premium growth and profit targets, by working with a team of pricing experts developing and implementing sophisticated predictive models with which to set and manage the pricing of a subset of the GI SME portfolio and deliver the right outcomes for those customers.

Skills and experience we're looking for:

• Qualified Actuary / Pricing Expert
• GI pricing experience in personal or digital commercial lines, for Specialty products and Property, Casualty or Motor business lines
• Highly numerate with strong analytical capability and mathematical modelling experience
• Strong IT, data and coding skills including extensive knowledge of WTW software such as EMBLEM and RADAR and/or other market approaches to pricing GI business
• Ability to manage and prioritise workload and team priorities with business area objectives being well understood

• Starting salary between £90,000 and £100,000 (depending on location, skills, experience, and qualifications)
