Job description
Responsibilities include leading on and writing proposals and presentation content, managing Request For Proposal (RFP) responses, coordinating with the client solutions team to create multiple types of collateral for pitches, writing other non-press pieces, assisting with client targeting and pursuit generation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Write or assist in writing RFP (Requests for Proposals) responses and executing on those proposals.
- Sales reporting - ensuring sales pipeline is up to date, issues monthly sales report, updated all sales records on Salesforce.
- Coordinates with the line of business platform; i.e., subject area, geographic resources and experts able to support any new business opportunities.
- Ability to comprehend, analyze, and interpret complex documents. Ability to solve advanced problems and deal with a variety of options in complex situations. Requires advanced analytical and quantitative skills.
- Write effective, concise and compelling content while under pressure associated with deadlines.
- Work as a team and to get accurate, high quality information from all stakeholders in order to produce pursuit content.
- Provide overall project management and leadership for pursuits from inception to completion.
- Support the team leader with leading multinational pursuits, and leading own pursuits where appropriate.
- Write, edit and customize proposal and presentation content, RFP responses, follow-up presentations and other interactive marketing and pitch materials for new business development pursuits and additional non-client specific marketing projects as needed.
- Act as lead for complex RFP responses, organizing responsibilities matrix and due dates for all deliverables.
- Demonstrate strong ability to write clearly, concisely, and effectively in a creative manner.
- Drive adherence to recognized best practices.
- Assist with pursuit generation, collaborating with other parts of the business.
