Job Title: Business Analyst
Location: Henrietta House, London
 
Role Purpose
 
As part of the Digital Operations team within the Valuation & Advisory division, this role will focus on the various teams valuing commercial and residential property types to evaluate business processes, gather requirements, identify areas for improvement and implement solutions using design thinking and agile methodologies.
 
 
Key Responsibilities 
 
• Perform ongoing reviews of business processes and evaluate business systems and user needs.
• Document business requirements, define scope and objectives and formulate systems to align to overall business strategies.
• Stay up to date on the latest process, changing business needs and IT advancements to automate and modernize systems.
• Conduct meetings and presentations to share ideas and findings with business champions and subject matter experts.
• Document and communicate the results of business requirements all the way from design to delivery.
• Work closely with all levels of stakeholders, team members and analyst group to ensure solutions meet business needs and requirements.
• Conduct user acceptance testing and business sign off for product/project deliveries.
• Work closely with Digital & Technology Product Manager / Platform Owners to monitor project plans and delivery timelines.
• Update, implement, and maintain improved business processes using technology.
• Prioritize initiatives based on business needs and requirements.
• Serve as a liaison between stakeholders and Digital and Technology partners or third-party vendors.
• Work closely with rest of Digital Operations team members, analyst group and technology partners to promote new ways of working and contribute to overall digital strategy.
• Lead changes end-to-end, defining functional and technical requirements on datasets and analytics support, including doing hands-on configuration and quality assurance
• Provide business user support to business systems
• Perform root cause analysis of problems and work closely with business users in order to identify and translate their needs into solution designs and systems specifications.
 
 
Person Specification/Requirements
 
• Exceptional analytical and conceptual thinking skills.
• The ability to influence stakeholders and work closely with them to determine acceptable solutions.
• Excellent documentation skills.
• Excellent presentation skills.
• Fluent in written and spoken English.
• Demonstrated ability in providing solutions and working with developers through the full development life cycle.
• Ability to work under pressure with multiple priorities.
• Comfortable working with a variety of business stakeholders and delivering outcomes
 
Skills / Experience Required
 
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in business analysis or a related field is essential.
• Experience with Salesforce reporting and dashboards is essential.
• Excellent Office 365 skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Experience in property and working with offshore teams is preferable.
• Strong experience in commercial real-estate is a plus, but not essential.
• A bachelor’s degree/certification in business or related field is desirable.
