THALES are looking to recruit a dedicated
Workplace Lead - Soft Services to play a key role in ensuring the successful performance of the soft services delivery in the IFM contract maintaining high standards of customer experience. You are joining at an exciting time of transformation.
You will be based at
Crawley, Reading or Templecombe as your office location but happy to travel to our other sites as and when needed.

What will you deliver? To manage the IFM service in accordance with the IFM Contract and Thales Real Estate Chorus II processes and rules on governance and financial management.
To support the management of Real Estate and Workplace strategic project lifecycle from inception through development, implementation and closure:
- Acting as a key point of contact as subject matter expert for Soft Services between the business end user and the UK Real Estate function
- Capture and refine business end user requirements in support of operations across the UK portfolio and feed into MYB
- Engaging with Real Estate functional leads and subject matter experts to manage operational and business critical activities/risk
- Support the delivery of the Workplace small works program through to completion and lessons learned
- Work within financial and operational targets set driving best value and achieving savings where possible without compromising operational performance
To work with the Thales business functions in conjunction with our IFM partner to develop, evolve and deliver a future proofed service including but not limited to:
- security services that meet all accreditation standards whilst delivery best value for Thales
- waste services which optimise recycling rates in line with Thales targets
- flexible and sustainable cleaning solutions to optimise the experience across our sites.
Who are we looking for? - An adaptable individual with some FM experience with a forward thinking approach. A proactive interest in sustainability is an advantage.
- A customer focussed team player with clear and demonstrable Real Estate and Facilities Management experience gained within a fast moving, multi-stakeholder corporate environment.
- A motivated self-starter, capable of working on own initiative with a high level of integrity to lead and deliver key tasks.
- A confident communicator, resourceful and proactive, with extensive stakeholder engagement and management experience. The ability to influence, guide and challenge stakeholders is essential
- Ability to develop, implement and evolve strategies an advantage
