We're seeking a future team member for the role of Product Development Manager to join our Trust & Depositary team. This role is located in London and is hybrid.

The product development function is a new team established in the Trustee & Depositary Business. We are building an agile-centric culture that places the customers' needs at the heart of our development process. We value rapid and controlled delivery of business value through partnerships with technology and depositary operations, with the product owner at the core.

The key focus is on the Trustee & Depositary Services business whilst also aligning to the larger organization to enable the adoption of key strategic platforms and data models ensuring the business is future ready.

In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:

• Reporting to the product manager, supporting them in defining the overall vision, execution, measurement and business outcomes


• Support key stakeholders and project teams transition from waterfall delivery to agile working environment.


• Define the product vision based on wide ranging inputs from clients, regulators, markets and desired commercial outcomes.


• Build strong subject matter expertise and knowledge of your product


• Design the operational model to deliver the service


• Expect to use data to make, justify and measure investment decisions


• Track and manage the execution budget to deliver ROI


• Ensure solutions developed are aligned with overall product and technology strategy


• Bring enthusiasm, drive and energy to the product development process


• Consider the required operating model and path to implementation to realize the product roadmap


• Own the client and business outcomes, with clear articulation and quantification of the business value


• Determine the scope of participation in initiatives and prioritization of initiatives.


• Define minimum viable products in conjunction with Product Manager


• Be fluent in agile working, helping to expand the adoption of end-to-end agile working in partnership with IT


• Ensure the Regulatory, Risk and audit requirements and understood.


• Be able to define the required business architecture to support the product vision and work with IT and SCRUM teams to achieve


• Take a hands on approach to directing SCRUM teams and participating in agile ceremonies, writing EPICS and manages story elaboration with BAs and SMEs


• Engage directly with stakeholders to manage expectations and outcomes


• Expect to work in a rapid, high paced environment with ambiguity and uncertainty


• Assess and keep pace with market trends and competitors

To be successful in this role, we're seeking the following:

• Experienced in product based roles in complex, enterprise, security services, custody or trustee and depositary environments.


• Leadership of aligned or virtual teams to achieve product goals


• Strong project management and execution capabilities


• Experience of implementing agile approaches to traditional environments with challenges in legacy technology and processes


• Experience of driving the product development lifecycle, from concept and client need through to execution and benefit realisation


• Experienced in working with business and technology architecture. Able to explain strategic concepts to audiences at all levels in the organisation and articulate complex


• Strong governance regimes ensuring books of work is accounted for and appropriate controls and oversight are in place. and reporting


• Preferred:
  
  • Domain knowledge of global custody/Trustee & Depositary Services
  
  
  • Strong knowledge of UCITS and AIFs vehicles.
