Specialist, Business Support Analyst

We're seeking a future team member for the role of Specialist, Business Support Analyst to join our Pershing Client Group team. This role is located in London.

In this role, you'll make an impact in the following ways:

• Work to provide a seamless process for the business development team by coordinating internal business units to research and gather information necessary to engage with sales targets appropriately and assist with RFP (Request for Proposal) submissions.
• Maintain and refine proposal processes and proposal library content.
• Assist in collating all internal documents for opportunities which is presented to business acceptance for legal/business reviews.
• Provide administrative assistance, streamline reporting and extract relevant information for the business. To reduce rekeying in multiple spreadsheets and upkeep of said spreadsheets. To work with the wider machine learning teams to extract Engage (CRM) data and enrich it with other data to provide predictive information and alerts.
• Work alongside the client group to update the sales pipeline database
• Extract key issues from Engage (CRM)/client meeting reports, capture key detail such as client issues and pain points to feed into group MI and provide trend reporting.
• Implement new consistent processes for client sales, generate reports to help push business through and address blockers
• Works directly with the business development or relationship management team to assist with the sales process and preparing presentations for client/prospect meetings
• Acts as a resource for relationship managers to ensure information needed to complete a sale or to improve the sales process is provided in a timely fashion.
• Works directly with business development or relationship management teams as well as the wider client group and stakeholders, to clarify requirements for materials being developed. Leverages technological expertise for product sales and demonstrations.

To be successful in this role, we're seeking the following:

• Ability to use Outlook, Word, Excel etc
• Project Management skills and experience desired but not essential
• Excellent written/verbal communication and effective listening skills
• Be decisive; with strong interpersonal and planning skills
• Keen interest in MI and data analysis
• Sufficient years of related experience preferred; experience in the securities or financial services industry is preferred
