The role.

We are seeking a Finance professional who will be a key player in a fast-growing Software Business Unit Sales organization and who is genuinely excited about driving and effectively scaling the business. This is a fantastic opportunity for a candidate that wants to have a voice in an organization that is selling products for a more sustainable future.

Flexible Location: Every Grid Software location in Europe.

Roles & Responsibilities
  • Responsible for Financial Planning and Analysis for Grid Software Business Unit Topline and Sales costs incl. key messages
  • Drive the implementation and tracking of Software specific KPIs (SWLR/ ACV/ ARR/ Net Retention Rate) which are crucial for Software business and Sales incentives
  • Sales Finance Data quality, governance & analytics partner and drive standardization across portfolios
  • Support development of Global Sales incentives data scheme
  • Interlock & drive financial Business Cases execution together with our PPM finance team
  • Establish a growth driven Sales capacity/ resource model together with your Sales partners in Sales OPS and Sales Portfolio directors
  • Establish a Sales contribution margin and Global Sales cost controlling
  • Responsible for the timely and competent analysis of actual cost positions, forecasting and budgeting as well as providing Key Performance Indicator to support business decisions
  • Trusted advisor to the Head of Sales Finance, Performance Controlling and all stakeholders within the Sales team
  • Start as individual contributor with the potential to lead a team in the future
  • Partner with broader multiple organizations to drive process and systematic improvements across the organization
Role Requirements.

This is a highly visible role, and the successful candidate will have a demonstrated track record in building and developing best practices in a high-growth environment. We seek someone who has:
  • Several years of experience in a progressive financial role
  • A Bachelor's degree in BA or equivalent qualification is required
  • Prior experience in software business is an advantage
  • Excellent financial modeling and analysis skills
  • Deep understanding of P&L components, unit economics, and Software metrics
  • Manage multiple tasks in a deadline-driven environment while maintaining a high level of precision
  • Executive presentation skills which enable highlighting key drivers in consumable formats, both excel and PPT
  • Power BI skills and/or Snowflake skills are an advantage
  • ERP SAP, Siemens Data Cloud, Smart Reporting knowledge is an advantage
  • Forward-thinking, analytical, and problem-solving mindset; positive "can do" attitude.
  • Collaborative individual that excels at developing strong working relationships at all levels
  • Experienced in working in a global organizational setup, self-motivated with strong organizational skills will set you apart
  • Excellent English language skills is a must
