 Aviva Early Careers Summer Conference

60 graduates and apprentices, 1 Lord and a duvet flip – it could only be our Early Careers Summer Conference!

Last week, we brought all of our early careers colleagues under one roof in Hoxton, where they had the opportunity to get immersed in our brand the grads took on the Aviva Ball Challenge with Emerge Development Consultancy Ltd and we were the first ever live audience for My Duvet Flip (streamed to over 50,000 people!), featuring our Chief People Officer, Danielle Harmer, and Lord John Bird, the mastermind behind The Big Issue!

Well, the reality is a world away; you'll be working on innovative solutions with diverse, talented teams, and no you don't need a finance or maths degree.

Aviva Skillsfest

Over 4,500 colleagues from the UK, Canada and Ireland took part in our first Aviva Skillsfest at the start of Decemeber – a celebration of learning and investing in our people’s skills.

 
Our colleagues took part in more than 70 different learning events to help build the skills we need now and for the future from data to digital, customer to commerciality.
 
Sarah Allen, head of Aviva University said: "It is critical we are investing today in the skills our people and business will need tomorrow. It is fantastic to see many of our people learning new skills that will help us drive growth for Aviva and great outcomes for our customers."

The Skills Workshop 2022

It was a wonderful virtual session that we were proud to represent ourselves, our early career pathways and our advice to the many who joined us via at The Skills Workshop in collaboration with Diversity Project - Investment Industry and Talk about black.
