This one-day conference hosted by York St John University’s School of Languages and Linguistics and LIdIA research unit brings together the most recent research on signing deaf people’s experiences in the workplace.
Particular attention will be given to deaf academics’ experiences of working in Higher Education Institutions, and how to make HEIs more accessible for deaf staff.
Other topics to be covered will be deaf-led businesses and how to make job seeking more accessible for signing deaf people.
