Staff Nurse - Outpatients (OPD)

Chichester Hospital | Nursing | Permanent contract | Full time | Includes Saturday working

Up to £36,000 depending on skills and experience

37.5 hours per week

As a Staff Nurse in the Out patients department at our Chichester Hospital you'll drive the standard in patient care. You're registered with the appropriate governing body, plus you bring the qualifications and experience that are relevant to your registration, including NMC. You also have post-registration experience.

As a OPD Staff Nurse, you will:

• Be flexible, motivated, an excellent communicator and team worker
• Join a close-knit team headed by our matron
• Fully understand and pay close attention to each patient's needs
• Work directly with some of the best clinical talent around
• Gain valuable experience of new practices, equipment and facilities
• Collaborate with practitioners across other departments to ensure continuity in patient care
• Wound care
• Venipuncture
• Gynae clinics
• Assisting with Minor Procedures with dermatology

Nuffield Health Chichester Hospital

Nuffield Health Chichester Hospital is a 30 bedded hospital within walking distance of the city centre with free onsite car parking. The hospital has two laminar flow operating theatres, a JAG accredited endoscopy unit and two minor treatment rooms in the outpatient department. There is a small radiology department and CT/ MRI services are provided in a mobile unit. Inpatient physiotherapy is provided within the hospital whilst our outpatients attend the fitness and wellbeing centre at Chichester gate for their follow up physio and hydrotherapy treatments.

Our main speciality is orthopaedics. We also care for patients needing treatment within the specialties of gynaecology, urology, general surgery, plastic surgery, ophthalmology max fax, and pain. We provide outpatient services for dermatology, cardiology, neurology, and rheumatology.
