Senior Theatre Practitioner - Team Leader - Ortho and Neuro/Spinal posts

Nuffield Health Cambridge Hospital | Nursing | Permanent Contract | Full Time

Up to £44,000 per annum, depending on experience

37.5 hours per week

Our Theatre Team currently have an opportunity for two Senior Theatre Practitioner - Team Leaders. Continue your journey with us whilst we'll support you to be your best.

To join a friendly and supportive theatre team to deliver excellent patient care during the perioperative episode.


As a Senior Theatre Practitioner - Team Leader - Ortho and Neuro/Spinal, you will:

  • Lead a team.

  • Be responsible for providing skilled clinical and technical assistance as a member of the Operating Theatre Team.

  • Assist with managing labour and costs associated (KPI).

  • Improve communication between Consultants and the Theatre team.

  • Clinical Governance.

  • Manage and controlling costs.

  • Staff performance and reviews.

  • Promote best practice and contributing towards quality improvements.

As a Senior Theatre Practitioner - Team Leader - Ortho and Neuro/Spinal, you will have:

  • Registered Practitioner with NMC or HCPC registration.

  • Minimum of 2 years in a senior post.

  • Demonstrable leadership skills and experience.

  • Excellent communication skills.

  • Immediate Life Support provider.

  • Mentorship qualification.
