About the Job:
Are you a Paralegal looking to progress your Legal Career with a FTSE 100 global business? We're looking for someone to join our inhouse team to develop a successful legal career.
In this role you will be a proactive members of the Legal Hub, providing legal advice and guidance to our Sage employees, effectively minimising and managing legal risk.

You'll also support the success of the business by developing, implementing, and maintaining policies, procedures and processes to ensure ongoing compliance with legal requirements.

Key Responsibilities

How success will be measured:
The goal of this role will be to provide an excellent level of pragmatic legal support to all colleagues across the UKI region and globally out of the Legal Service Centre, while effectively managing legal risks. This will contribute to the overall success of the business.

What you can expect in the first90 days:

During your first 30 days at Sage, you'll complete all general onboarding activities and introductory trainings, ensuring a smooth entrance into the company and meeting key stakeholders. By the 60-day mark, you'll have gained confidence in handling day-to-day tasks and collaborate with your manager to establish future measures of success, including OKRs. Finally, at 90 days, you'll have a comprehensive understanding of your role's expectations, with the ability to work independently within the Legal Service Centre while still receiving support from your team.

What you will be involved in:

Your responsibilities will include conducting legal due diligence and research, reviewing customer and supplier contracts, and participating in contract negotiations with third parties. You'll collaborate with stakeholders across the business to deliver timely legal advice and engage in ongoing improvements to legal processes and procedures. You will work as part of a team of 4 others currently, which this would make the team a total of 5.

Ideally, you should have a UK Law degree and some previous work experience, accompanied by excellent spoken and written communication skills. You'll need to work effectively with a broad range of stakeholders at different levels, demonstrating strong research skills and meticulous attention to detail in your work.
