Nursery / Early Years Practitioner
Nuffy Bear Nursery | Nuffield Health Fitness and Wellbeing Centres | Childcare

Permanent contract | Full time | 40 hours per week
£24,000 - 27,000 per annum depending on experience

Available locations - Brondesbury Park, Sunbury, Surbiton and Wandsworth.

Our Nuffy Bear Day Nursery is seeking an Nursery Nurse/Early Years Nursery Practitioner to be based at our Nuffy Bear Nursery in our Nuffield Health Gym.

As an Early Years Practitioner, you will be part of a team who offer full day care, sessional care plus a Pre-School for children aged from 3 months to 5 years.

Joining the team as an Early Years Practitioner, you'll provide care and education while promoting health, and helping children achieve the best possible start in life. We are Ofsted registered and follow the Early Years Foundation Stage. We offer a unique rage of wellbeing focused care for children including swimming lessons for our over 3's, making this a truly unique opportunity with the opportunity to train up to Level 5.

You are to qualified to at least level 2 in childcare studies and have experience to NVQ Level 2 / 3 or NNEB. Responsibilities of a Early Years Practitioner

• Provide high quality care and education while promoting health and wellbeing.

• Help children achieve the best possible start in life.

• Ensure learning is linked to the child's development

• Plan for age appropriate activities

• Communicate with Parents/Carers and other external professionals.

Our Ideal Early Years Practitioner

• Will be qualified to a NVQ Level 2 / 3 in childcare studies or equivalent.

• Have experience in a Nursery setting.

• Preferred paediatric first aid qualifications.

• All candidates will require an enhanced DBS
