Nursery Nurse (Early Years Practitioner)

£24,980.80 per annum

40 hours per week

Our Nuffy Bear Day Nursery is seeking an Nursery Nurse/Early Years Nursery Practitioner to be based at our Gloucester Fitness & Wellbeing Club in our Nuffield Health gym.

Joining the team as a Nursery Nurse (Early Years Practitioner), you'll provide care and education while promoting health, and helping children achieve the best possible start in life. We are Ofsted registered and follow the Early Years Foundation Stage. We offer a unique rage of wellbeing focused care for children including swimming lessons for our over 3's, making this a truly unique opportunity.

You are to qualified to at least level 3 in childcare studies and have experience to NVQ Level 3 or NNEB. Responsibilities of a Nursery Nurse (Early Years Practitioner):

• Provide high quality care and education while promoting health and wellbeing.

• Help children achieve the best possible start in life.

• Ensure learning is linked to the child's development.

• Plan for age appropriate activities.

• Communicate with Parents/Carers and other external professionals.

Our Ideal Nursery Nurse (Early Years Practitioner) :

• Will be qualified to a NVQ Level 3 in childcare studies or equivalent.

• Have experience in a Nursery setting, and have work with children.

• Preferred paediatric first aid qualifications.

• All candidate will require an enhanced DBS.
