What you'll be working on

We're looking for a Measurement Director for our Tesco Retail Media UK team. As the single-threaded leader for all measurement topics in the business, this role spans the ongoing provision of Retail data for media planning purposes, end-of-campaign reporting and topics of attribution, as well as third-party relationships with MMM and lift study providers.

This role reports to the Director Strategy & Proposition and will have direct reports of measurement experts that drive learning agendas with top client and agency partners, embedded with the Sales organization.

What we expect from you

For this role, we have identified preliminary goals of:

• Set out a multi-year measurement strategy for approval by the Retail Media lead team, which includes Product, Sales, Ops, and Finance.

• Improve on-platform ROAS by x% for CPG clients. Increase brand-budget revenue covered by third-party measurement studies by y%. For this, train x% of the client and agency relationship teams on our measurement capabilities and best practices.

• In collaboration with Product data science teams, develop technical roadmaps for attribution, retail data sharing, A/B testing and further measurement innovation.

• Collaborate with third-party measurement providers to confirm the omnichannel ROI of the platform towards our clients. Negotiate cost reductions of third-party lift studies by x%.

• Drive external visibility of Tesco Retail Media measurement in industry bodies, with recognition as being best-in-class in industry reviews. Publish x number of case studies and meta-analyses proving superior ROI in key CPG use cases.

Necessary qualifications:

• Past team-leadership role with a focus on media ROI measurement, ideally including Digital, in the CPG category

• Experience in working in matrixed organizations with many Measurement stakeholders and product dependencies, or having served clients of this type

• Have contributed to the Measurement expert community

Preferred qualifications:

• Experience leading a measurement team at a digital platform with offerings in Retail Media, Digital Commerce, E-Commerce
