£23,887.50 per annum (pro rata)

22.5 hours per week

Keeping our Hospitals clean is a big priority for us. We are looking for a Housekeeper, who will help us to create a safe and pleasant environment for patients by cleaning and preparing a range of areas, getting the best from cleaning products and, using equipment (training provided where needed). You will take pride in your work and undertake a variety of general responsibilities ranging from removing waste, to checking stock and updating records on the computer. To help us build a healthier nation as a Housekeeper/ Domestic Assistant, you will work on the night team with a friendly group at our Wessex Hospital.

As a Housekeeper / Domestic Assistant, you will:

• Care about our patients, so that you can organise your own work and plan your time to make sure cleaning never gets in the way of a patients' experience.

• Be friendly, with good communication and customer service skills. This will come in handy when you are working in a team with your colleagues and also when you are interacting with our patients.

• Motivated, friendly and flexible.

• Experience in a similar role, you will b.e well organised and will ensure that cleaning products are used effectively, and that the location is clean, pleasant and safe for patients.

• Infection prevention and control compliances, reporting incidents to the relevant team members.

Wessex Hospital

Nuffield Health Wessex Hospital is a stunning 46 bedded private hospital in West Hampshire with specialisms in Orthopaedics, Ophthalmology, Urology, Women's Health and Spinal surgery. The hospital also benefits from having onsite Radiology, Pathology, Pharmacy, Physiotherapy and Hydrotherapy so we can give our patients a complete package of care. There are 16 consulting rooms with speciality outpatient rooms, 46 private patient bedrooms with en-suite facilities, 24 hr resident doctor on site (RMO) and four operating theatres and one endoscopy suite.
