Highly Specialist Cardiac Physiologist-

Nuffield Health St Bartholomew's Hospital | Permanent | Full time |

Salary up to £60,000.00 per annum depending on experience

37.5 hours per week

We have an exciting opportunity for dynamic and a forward-thinking Cardiac Physiologist to join our team at Nuffield Health at St Bartholomew`s Hospital!

The successful candidate will contribute to service provision specifically within invasive cardiology, specifically to support the growing electrophysiology and devices services, as well as supporting other interventional work and non-invasive cardiac investigations. An ability to work flexibly across different areas would be an advantage, however consideration will be given to exceptional candidates.

Applicants will ideally be competent in non-invasive & invasive cardiac including:

• Non-invasive Cardiology investigations; ECG, ETT, Holter

• Cardiac Device follow up

• Invasive Cardiology; PCI, Cardiac Device implants, Structural heart interventions.

Successful applicants will be expected to deliver high quality, clinically effective patient care for our patients and contribute to developing and building our charitable aims.

As well as contributing to service provision a focus of this role would be to support junior staff with their continual development, and helping to build the scientific workforce of the future. This includes mentoring and delivering informal and formal teaching. We will support your learning and development with both internal and external training, and giving you the skills and knowledge to develop in to a future leader.

St Bartholomew's Hospital:

The City of London's only independent hospital, situated next to St Bartholomew's NHS hospital. This will be our flagship centre for cardiac services and will also provide a full range of surgical and medical services, including: orthopaedics, oncology, general surgery, gynaecology and urology services.

The new hospital will consist of:

• 48 inpatient and day case bedrooms

• 28 consultation rooms

• Three digital operating theatres

• Two Cardiac catheterisation labs

• Specialist intensive care beds

• Oncology day unit

• Endoscopy and minor ops theatre

• Full diagnostic imaging suite including MRI, CT, ultrasound, mammography and general X-ray
