Purpose of the Role

As Head of Corporate and Pricing, you will play a fundamental role in the actuarial team, enhancing Ki`s commercial and strategic approach using creative actuarial insight across pricing, planning, partner relationships and strategic commercial projects. As a member of the Actuarial Leadership Team, you will work closely with the Actuarial Director to manage and develop the Corporate and Pricing teams.

Within this role, you will be responsible for managing the deal-level pricing outside of the algorithm, including model development, building and maintenance. This will involve the delivery of a best-in-class pricing model, responsibility for the creation and maintenance of governance and documentation as well as ensuring robust challenge of business plans for each division. You will also be responsible for embedding this insight into the Portfolio Underwriting teams through the provision of excellent MI. In managing the Corporate Actuarial function, you will add challenge and input into business planning, supporting the strategic direction of Ki through deep-dive reviews for each class. You will drive improved performance monitoring via communication of appropriate technical pricing updates, targeted performance presentations, and considering the impact of quarterly reserving results.

This is a highly collaborative role with stakeholders across Underwriting, Algorithmic Pricing, Analytics, Strategy teams and various other functions as required.
