We have a Multigenerational Workplace Employee Resource Group to support colleagues of any age to feel included and accepted at Brit.
The Employee Resource Group meet regularly to discuss topics and challenges and raise suggestions for change through to the Inclusion and Diversity Committee.
The Group discuss topics that affect older employees, as well as those just entering work at the start of their career.
Any of our people can join, regardless of the generation to which they belong.
Congratulations to Siobhan Hayden and Janet Henderson who have been selected for the final 50 women of the 50 over Fifty Women in Insurance celebration 2022. Our finalists will join 48 other women who will have their profile and professional portrait displayed at the exhibition which is taking place in London in June.
We’re proud to be involved in this project and, through the work of our Multigenerational Workplace ERG, we’re pleased to showcase Brit as an employer of choice for people of all ages.
We were excited to host our People Forum event in May 2022, focusing on the Multi-Generational Workplace. Our speakers included world-renowned psychologist Professor Adrian Furnham, generational expert and broadcaster Dr Eliza Filby, and recognised entrepreneur Timothy Armoo.
Events which bring our colleagues together, such as the People Forums, are integral to our culture of inclusion and diversity. By encouraging collaboration and conversation amongst our people – especially when facing up to different perspectives – we believe we can improve our ways of working, grow our culture, and make sure everyone feels like they can bring their whole selves to work.
