Sister / Charge Nurse

Chichester | Ward | Permanent | Full time |Includes weekend work

Up to £44,250 depending on experience

37.5 hours per week

As a Sister / Charge Nurse at our Chichester Hospital, you're registered with the appropriate governing body and you have the relevant qualifications and experience, including NMC. With excellent leadership skills, you hold post-registration experience in care of patients, pre and post operatively, in everything from Cardiac to Colorectal, Orthopaedic, ENT, Gynae and Urology.

As a Sister / Charge Nurse, you will:

• Support the Senior Sister/ Ward Manager in the efficient running of the ward
• Co-ordinate activity and be responsible for patient care and safety
• Be instrumental to the patient experience, ensuring seamless, personalised care
• Work well with consultants who are experts in their field
• Apply your knowledge and skills in assessment, care planning and delivery
• Champion a supportive, enabling working culture on the ward, promoting staff safety
• Have a minimum of two years experience in a United Kingdom ward based setting.

Nuffield Health Chichester Hospital

Nuffield Health Chichester Hospital is a 30 bedded hospital within walking distance of the city centre with free onsite car parking.  The hospital has two laminar flow operating theatres, a JAG accredited endoscopy unit and two minor treatment rooms in the outpatient department.  There is a small radiology department and CT/ MRI services are provided in a mobile unit.  Inpatient physiotherapy is provided within the hospital whilst our outpatients attend the fitness and wellbeing centre at Chichester gate for their follow up physio and hydrotherapy treatments.  Our main speciality is orthopaedics. We also care for patients needing treatment within the specialties of gynaecology, urology, general surgery, plastic surgery, ophthalmology max fax, and pain. We provide outpatient services for dermatology, cardiology, neurology, and rheumatology.
