Up to £34,000 per annum, depending on experience
37.5 hours per week

As a Biomedical Scientist at our Wessex Hospital, you'll bring the relevant qualifications and laboratory experience in multidisciplinary biomedical science. You have a good working knowledge of different analytical equipment in a range of techniques. You're also a natural communicator and team player, and you share our idea of quality.

As a Biomedical Scientist, you will:

• Deliver high-quality pathology services.

• Complete your share of covering the out-of-hours on-call service.

• Perform biomedical diagnostic testing, interpretation, reporting and quality control.

• Keep records of specimens, results, reagents and consumables.

• Support the validation and assessment of new equipment and new diagnostic procedures.

• Help ensure we deliver the very best experience for patients.

Nuffield Health Wessex Hospital

A stunning 46 bedded private hospital in West Hampshire and care for patients needing treatment within the specialties of gynaecology, urology, general surgery, plastic surgery, ophthalmology max fax, and pain. We provide outpatient services for dermatology, cardiology, neurology, and rheumatology.

The hospital has two laminar flow operating theatres, an endoscopy unit and two minor treatment rooms in the outpatient department, an onsite Radiology and CT/ MRI services are provided in a mobile unit. We have Pathology, Pharmacy, Physiotherapy and Hydrotherapy onsite so we can give our patients a complete package of care. There's also a 24 hr resident doctor onsite (RMO).
