Staff Nurse - Angiography (Bank)

Leeds | Hospital | Bank contract - Ad hoc

Up to £18 hours per week

We are looking for an Interventional Cardiology and Radiology nurse who would be willing to join our bank at Leeds Nuffield. We are a small team of Nurses, Radiographers and Cardiac Physiologist who provides Cardiology services such as Coronary Diagnostic procedures, Coronary Intervention, Pacing, Implantable Defibrillator, PFO/ASD Closures to name a few.
We also provide Interventional Vascular Radiology Services such as Percutaneous Transluminal Angioplasty and stents for Peripheral Vessels, Embolisation of Uterine Fibroids, Varicocele and Pelvic Vein anomalies.

As a Staff Nurse -

• You will work as part of the Interventional Suite nursing team, to provide a high standard of care to patients.

• You will be actively engaged in the delivery of excellent patient care in the Radiology/Cardiology setting.

• You will have good communication and organisational abilities in order to effectively pre-optimise patients prior to procedures. You must demonstrate excellent clinical standards and have experience in this specialised area including scrubbing, circulating and conscious sedation.

• You will work flexibly according to private practice demands.

Candidates are expected to have ILS or ALS training, venepuncture and cannulation skills, IABP, Intravascular Lithotripsy and Pressure wire X system.
