What you`ll be doing

The Actuary role is a broad and pivotal in assisting the Group Actuaries for Pricing, Reserving, and Insurance Risk as appropriate.

You`ll be collaborating with stakeholders and be the key point of contact for the relevant Underwriting teams and support other Group functions in respect of the provision of actuarial pricing and business planning activities, reserving, insurance risk and other actuarial related activity as required.
In this role you`ll engage in the implementation of innovative automation and data solutions to drive efficiency and enhance performance.
You`ll actively foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within operations and the wider business.

You`ll be excellent communicator, adept at identifying classes for targeted review, focusing on the key areas, and ensuring appropriate level of involvement and input from all key stakeholders; presenting to senior management at the Reserving Committee will be required.

Day to day
This is a great opportunity for someone who has the passion to support and develop the skills and capabilities of direct reports and other recently qualified Actuaries and Actuarial students.
You`ll have the opportunity to provide contribution to Group wide projects relating to pricing, reserving or insurance risk parameterisation and any strategic initiatives (as required).
Daily there will be the chance to apply expert judgement and knowledge to ensure adequate justification of assumptions, completion of audit trails to a high standard and involvement of Senior Underwriting Management as appropriate.
