Gender Equality & Identity at Thales

As a firm believer in breaking down barriers for women in STEM, Thales in the UK was delighted to be a key sponsor at Karren Brady's Women in Business & Tech Expo.

Over two days in October, our team of experts met with hundreds of inspirational women who, like us, are committed to building a diverse workforce.

During the event, Dr Rachel Craddock, our Chief Technical Consultant, delivered a hugely important talk on humanising neurodiversity in the workplace, while a further group of employees took part in a roundtable discussion, to share their most valuable career lessons they have learnt as women in Thales.

Being part of an event that uplifts, empowers and encourages women to thrive in business is important to us as we hope to encourage more women to look at STEM as a future career option.

18th October marks Menopause Awareness Day, we are proud to be launching our new Menopause Policy, created with the help of employees, and experts in the field, to create awareness, increase support and grow understanding of the impact the menopause and its symptoms can have in the workplace.

We are actively addressing the gender imbalance within our industries in the UK. Together with our partner organisations, we help promote science, technology, engineering and maths  (STEM) careers within aerospace, defence, transport, security and space through a wide range of activities, events and open days. Delivering cutting-edge innovation requires a huge diversity of thought, skills and experiences and this is reflected in our need for a truly diverse workforce.

Gender Pay Gap Report
