Menopause support at Thales

At Thales, we are committed to creating a truly diverse workforce with a culture that respects and values the uniqueness of every individual.

We recently relaunched some of our policies to improve the support to all of our current and future employees; with guidance from external suppliers and our employees to ensure we offer the best for our people.

Menopause Policy

What impact does it have / how does it help Thales employees:  Creating a sustainable foundation for our people who experience menopause during their career creates genuine equity to empower and removes barriers for our people.  We want anyone that is experiencing symptoms or is affected by menopause, to feel confident in asking for support. We all deserve to feel that we belong and can be ourselves at work.

Who does it help: Everyone. This policy is designed to educate and create awareness around the impacts, symptoms, supportive behaviours and adjustments available. Whilst it focuses on providing practical support to people experiencing menopause, it also provides guidance for people managers, peers and even family members of those experiencing menopausal symptoms. Our hope is that through normalising and providing a complete package of support and awareness it will help our people identify any barriers they may experience that are associated with menopause and tailored support that’s right for them.
