Exploring Intersectionality: Gender and Ethnicity

As an extension of International Women's Day, VERCIDA invites you to an afternoon with former British athlete Donna Fraser. 

Now head of Equality, Diversity and Engagement at British Athletics, Donna will be talking about the intersectionality of gender and ethnicity. Intersectionality is the term used to describe our overlapping multiple identities, such as race and gender, age and sexuality or disability and social background. Intersectionality is increasingly becoming an area of focus for diversity management, and poses some interesting challenges for UK employers. 

Donna Fraser will be joined by Sabrina Clarke, CEO of Build Global, a company that partners with clients to design tailor made strategies that drives transformation and sustains change for business growth. 

Light refreshments will be provided throughout the event with hot food, non-alcoholic and alcoholic beverages available during the networking period directly after the event.
