Key accountabilities
• Deliver a series of professional and effective virtual events over the course of the year. • Be the subject matter expert when it comes to virtual event technology - keeping abreast of new developments and innovations. • Provide advice and support to people running their own local events. • Design lively events that engage employees while supporting business goals • Specific event responsibilities include: o Develop event plans to ensure events are delivered effectively. o Manage the development and delivery of event branding and communications. o Manage pre-event planning, organising and briefing presenters. o Gather and develop content as required. o Provide hands-on during the event to ensure all runs smoothly. o Produce post-event evaluation to inform future events. • Research and champion virtual events best practice at ISG, including new event formats, content, and use of technology. • Provide hands-on support with other marketing and communications projects/initiatives as required.
Skills & experience
• Previous experience delivering events within a corporate environment essential. • Confident in the use of online technologies for event delivery. • In-depth understanding of event management procedures. • Outstanding organisational and coordination skills. • Strong communication skills. • Good stakeholder management skills. • Good PowerPoint skills.
