Where will I be working? You'll join Wellcome's Communications team, working closely with colleagues across News and Content , Events and Studio teams. Reporting to the Media and Planning Lead, you'll play a key role in coordinating communications activity across the organisation, helping teams work together effectively to maximise the impact of Wellcome's work and reputation.
What will I be doing? You'll coordinate communications planning and delivery across Wellcome , managing calendars, workflows and approvals to ensure activity is well-timed and strategically aligned. You'll support media relations and digital content projects, maintain content libraries, track performance metrics, coordinate stakeholders across teams and help deliver high-quality communications that engage external audiences and support Wellcome's mission.
Is this job for me? We're looking for someone who is highly organised, detail- oriented and confident managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. You'll have experience in communications, media relations, public relations or a related field, with strong relationship-building and communication skills. Minimum Criteria:
- Strong organisational skills with experience coordinating multiple tasksand juggling competing priorities.
- Understanding of cross-channel communications, platforms andmethodologiesand ability to utilise this to influence strategic planning decisions andwork collaboratively across teams, influence strategic decisions.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage competing priorities.
- Proactive, organised and able to manage multiple deadlines.
- Strong communicator with excellentwritten and verbal skills, able to influence and advise colleagues at different levels of an organisation.
