About the Role We are looking for an innovative and customer-focused Product Manager to help shape and deliver market-leading educational resources for International Education markets. This role is an exciting opportunity for someone with experience developing print and digital resources for teachers and learners at Primary and Secondary stages in international schools. Combining market insight, curriculum knowledge and a deep understanding of customer and stakeholder needs, you will contribute to the development of engaging learning solutions that support teachers and learners around the world. You'll play an important role in identifying emerging trends, informing product strategy and helping to deliver sustainable growth across our portfolio.
Working collaboratively with editorial, sales, marketing and digital teams, you will manage products throughout their lifecycle, from initial research and concept development through to launch, evaluation and ongoing enhancement. You'll work closely with authors, subject matter experts and external partners to create high-quality, accessible and commercially-successful resources that meet the needs of diverse international school communities. Experience adapting and developing content for different curricula, territories and learning contexts will be highly valued, as will an ability to balance educational impact with commercial objectives.
The successful candidate will bring strong product development experience, excellent project management skills and a collaborative approach to stakeholder engagement. You will be comfortable working across teams, building positive relationships and sharing knowledge to support collective success. Curious, adaptable and solutions-focused, you'll enjoy using market insights and customer feedback to inform decision-making and identify opportunities for innovation. We operate a hybrid working policy that requires a minimum of 2 days per week in the Oxford office.
About You Essential:
- A strong background in educational product development (in particular custom publishing product development and delivery).
- A deep understanding of the needs of international Primary and Secondary teachers and learners.
- A good understanding of key international curricula and qualifications (e.g. Cambridge, Oxford International Curriculum, OxfordAQA, IB).
- A track-record of having successfully implemented complex print and digital products including bespoke custom solutions at Ministry level or other key account version publishing that have driven share and profitable revenue growth.
- A creative and innovative mindset.
- Excellent presentation and proposal writing skills.
- Excellent leadership, management, and influencing skills.
- Understanding of learning trends and pedagogy and assessment.
- Ability to manage change and uncertainty.
Desirable:
- Experience of teaching or curriculum development at Primary/Secondary level.
- Proven track record of utilization of AI - enterprise and/or bespoke tools.
