About the opportunity:

The Box Encapsulation Plant project is one of the most important construction projects at the Sellafield Site, the plant will play a vital role in Sellafield's 100-year clean-up programme by taking nuclear waste recovered from the sites original waste plants and encasing it in concrete so it can be stored in a modern building. The plant is primarily designed to deal with waste from the Magnox Swarf Storage Silo, one of four legacy waste plants prioritised for clean-up by Sellafield Ltd's owner, the Nuclear Decommissioning Authority (NDA). Alongside that work, the plant will also receive certain wastes from the other three legacy waste stores, the First Generation Magnox Storage Pond, the Pile Fuel Storage Pond, and Pile Fuel Cladding Silo.

We are currently looking for a Outcell Lead Package Manager. This role may be based in multiple locations - Sellafield Site, Cumbria office, Warrington, Stockton or one of our Vendors' office.

Responsibilities:

• Management of Subcontractors to deliver the allocated packages of work.
• Management of a multi-disciple team to support the Subcontractors delivery and site works including Engineering, QA, Expediting, Commercial, Doc Control, Planning, Construction, Commissioning.
• Ensuring appropriate resourcing is available from all the above disciplines in accordance with scheduled activities
• Management of change relating to both Client and Subcontractor, which is driven by other Area's in the JV, the Employer and Commissioning activities.
• Management of schedules owned by the Subcontractor and BEPDT.
• Management and reporting of change, cost and reporting within BEPDT
• Managing scope relating to system interfaces to other systems and therefore liaison with other contracts and Subcontractors
• Ensuring the schedule and arrangements for site works are in place and supporting site works.
• Identification and management of risk.

Here's What You'll Need:

• Experience of managing packages of work on EPC projects or similar,
• Proven track record of successfully working on NEC3 projects,
• Experience and demonstrated abilities of working as part of a collaborative team, in a multi-discipline environment.
• Experience in Mechanical and EC&I services.
