Key accountabilities: • Aldgate will be the base but travel within London, regional offices & project sites is a mandatory requirement.
• Install, configure, test, maintain, monitor, and troubleshoot end-user hardware and software, networked peripheral devices as well as networking software products In line with Group IT best practice.
• Assist in IT network commissions / decommissions on project sites.
• Assist / manage moves and changes within ISG offices and project sites.
• Embrace a culture of continued improvement and quality.
• Ensure that any technical and procedural changes provided by Group IT are followed, working to best practice methodology.
• Escalate any major incidents immediately using the major incident process flow.
• To preserve the security of company systems and data
• Make technical / process recommendations to line management to enhance service delivery.
• Participate in weekly change advisory board meeting and reviews when required.
• Perform other related duties and responsibilities as assigned by line management.
• Participate in third party meetings and service reviews when required.
Always present a positive image of Group IT and ISG.
Skills and Experience: • Planning and organisational skills
• Good written and oral communication skills
• Pro-active working
• Self-motivated and effective time management skills including willingness to learn new skills and take the lead when required.
• Ability to think creatively and to problem solve.
• Strong customer focus and build a culture of excellent customer service.
• Team player
• Experience of 1st, 2nd line technical support essential.
• Experience in a customer service IT Support environment
• Experience in Laptop & mobile device builds, maintenance & management
• Demonstrated understanding of IT networking
• Experience in Asset Management
• Service Now Understanding.
• General understanding of IT Networking.
• Audio Visual (AV) knowledge and skills.
• Experience with Office 365 Administration
• Experience with Windows 10/11 support
• Full Clean driving licence
Qualifications: - IT related qualifications desired but not essential.
- ITIL 4 Foundation desired but not essential.
- CompTIA desired but not essential.
