Essex Conty Concil are delighted to be spporting Harlow District Concil to recrit a temporary Environmental Health Food Officer on a part-time basis of 1 day per week ntil March 7.

Harlow is a district of contrasts and an ideal location to both live and work. The town itself is thriving, with excellent shopping and leisre facilities for all ages. We have good road links to the M11 and M5 and excellent rail connections to London and Stansted Airport, jst 35 mintes and mintes away from Harlow respectively.
The role:
The sccessfl candidate will be responsible for carrying ot a fll range of high-qality food hygiene inspections, with most of the work involving Category D and newly registered/nrated food bsinesses.
The experience yo will bring:
• Previos experience ndertaking food hygiene inspections within an Environmental Health setting
• Ability to carry ot inspections to a high professional standard and in accordance with relevant food safety legislation and procedres
• Appropriate CIEH registration
• p-to-date Contining Professional Development (CPD), inclding evidence of at least 1 hors of core food training
• Strong commnication, organisational and report-writing skills
• Ability to work independently and manage inspection workloads effectively
