Essex Conty Concil (ECC) are delighted to be spporting Harlow Concil to recrit a Procrement & Contracts Lawyer on a fll-time, temporary basis.
Please note that this post reqires the sccessfl individal to be based on site a minimm of 3 days per week.

We have good road links to the M11 and M5 and excellent rail connections to London and Stansted Airport, jst 35 mintes and mintes away from Harlow respectively.
Job Prpose: To assist the Specialist Lawyer- Commercial and Property in the provision of innovative, commercially sond, marketable, efficient and effective legal services that ensres that the Concil's interests and vales are protected, advanced and enforced.
The Role: To provide legal advice and assistance to the Concil, its Chief and Senior Officers Client Officers Members appointed Stattory Directors and similar.To ndertake complex high risk non-contentios matters and to appear as Advocate before the Corts on behalf of the Concil.To ndertake condct of non-contentios procrement, contract and companies matters and ancillary non contentios transactionsTo attend and act as legal advisor to Committees, Sb Committees, Meetings and similar meetings as reqired.To keep informed of developments in areas fields of law of immediate concern to the Concil and to advise the Concil, Chief Officer, Senior Management, Client Departments, Officers Stattory Directors and Members as appropriateTo ndertake any and all stattory and delegated dties as reqiredTo advance promote and assist in the shaping and development of the delivery of Legal Services.To assist with the processes reqired by LEXCEL accreditation.What yo shold do nextIf yo are interested in finding ot more abot this role, we wold love to hear from yo.
