Job summaryWe are seeking to appoint 1 full-time permanent Consultant Musculoskeletal Radiologist at Nottingham University Hospitals to ensure continuity of the service to support the local and regional demand for MSK imaging.
The successful applicants will share responsibility with 9 other colleagues for the provision of all aspects of MSK imaging in our Trust with possible future expansion to the Trusts within the regional network.
Main duties of the jobTo provide, along with Consultant colleagues, a comprehensive elective and emergency on-call service related to MSK Radiology.
The posts include sessions for reporting time for Plain Film, MRI and CT, performing ultrasound and fluoroscopy/US/CT guided procedures and participation in multidisciplinary meetings.
The successful candidate will be expected to become an effective member of the team of MSK radiologists, to be responsible for the care of patients in their charge and to participate in teaching, research, audit and continuing professional development.

However the department is delighted to entertain expressions of interest from individuals who will be within 6 months of attaining CCT at the time of interview .
The post will be primarily located at the Queens Medical Centre campus although the successful applicant will be required to provide sessions at the sites where we provide an MSK Radiology service.
