Maldon District Concil is working in partnership with Essex Shared Services to spport the role of Commnications Officer, a fll-time position offering hybrid working with an expectation of attending the office days per week.
Role Prpose: Deliver clear, accrate and accessible commnications that spport concil services, projects and priorities.Spport engagement, campaigns, events and promotional activity across appropriate channels.Handle press and commnications enqiries promptly and consistently, in line with concil standards.Manage allocated commnications and marketing work to agreed priorities and deadlines.The Experience Yo Will Bring:A-level, NVQ Level 3 or eqivalent qalification, or relevant experience in commnications, marketing or engagement.Experience prodcing clear, accrate and engaging content for different adiences and channels.Experience spporting campaigns, events, promotions or cstomer and partner engagement.Working knowledge of digital commnications, accessibility and data protection reqirements.Strong written and verbal commnication, organisation and collaborative working skills.Ability to manage competing priorities, meet deadlines and follow agreed standards and processes.Confidence sing Microsoft 365 and digital commnications platforms, with a commitment to ongoing learning.Be part of Maldon District Concil - 'Where Qality of Life Matters'Maldon District Concil is a local athority 'Where qality of life matters'.
