Person specification

Education & Qualifications

Essential criteria
  • NVQ/QCF Level 3 in Health-related subject/Care Certificate
  • Trained in cannulation, venepuncture and Point of Care Testing (POCT)


Desirable criteria
  • Demonstrable commitment to personal and professional development


Experience

Essential criteria
  • Previous experience as a care assistant in a NHS or private health care environment


Desirable criteria
  • Experience of working in an Imaging Department


Key Skills

Essential criteria
  • Ability to work under pressure and be flexible in their approach to work


Desirable criteria
  • Basic IT and keyboard skills
  • Ability to effectively prioritise and co-ordinate own work and that of others


Knowledge

Essential criteria
  • CRIS & PACS
  • An understanding of confidentiality and accountability and what this means


Disclosure & Barring Check Fee

Where your role requires a DBS check, the Trust will pay the fee upfront and reclaim the cost (including a £5 admin fee) from your first month's salary. Volunteers are exempt.
